What is most important to look for in an Essential Oil?

An essential oil that is pure, unadulterated, high quality, and classified as therapeutic grade, is safe and powerfully effective for people of all ages. On the other hand, poor quality oils can actually be quite toxic and harmful!

Oils that have been distilled too quickly or with too much heat and pressure will not have the potency or balanced proportion of constituents that give an essential oil the high therapeutic properties and powerful effectiveness.

Quality control protocols must be rigorously applied to every batch of oil that is distilled, and expensive laboratory testing is necessary to verify the quality and purity of each batch.
